The National Kidney Registry Now Offers Free Posters to Help Kidney Patients Search for a Living Donor

The National Kidney Registry (NKR) is excited to announce the availability of microsite patient posters, a simple and effective tool to help microsite patients share their stories and connect with potential living donors.

The Microsite Program provides kidney and liver patients with a free website, 250 business cards, a monthly educational webinar, and personal coaching from a team of full-time professional coaches dedicated to helping patients find a living donor. Now the program also offers customizable posters.

“Every patient has the ability to find a living donor, if they can spread the word far enough,” said Samantha Hil, NKR Microsite Product Manager. “The new posters will make this outreach easier, offering a simple yet powerful way for microsite patients to tell their story and reach potential living donors.”

Two Types of Posters Are Available:

Starter Posters
Starter posters are automatically provided to all patients who set up a new microsite. They are designed to be simple and shareable, offering a quick and easy way to spread the word about the need for a kidney donor.

  • Each microsite patient receives 10 starter posters.
  • Posters include general information on living kidney donation, the patient’s unique microsite URL, and a QR code.

Custom Posters
Patients who have created a custom microsite with a personalized story and photos can request custom posters, which provide a more personal connection for potential donors.

  • Each request includes 25 custom posters.
  • Posters include the patient’s photo, general information on living kidney donation, the unique microsite URL, and a QR code.
  • Custom posters can be requested through microsite coaches or the Find A Kidney website.
